This post begins my foray into the digital scrapbook blogging world.
I have to tell you all, if you don’t already have an external hard drive, get one! You’ll need it for all of the files you’ll acquire and create, and it could also be a lifesaver if your computer freaks out (like mine did last night). I haven’t gotten to scrap in three days. We had friends over Monday and Tuesday, and after I finished downloading a few things last night, my computer went crazy.
I am really bummed, as I just purchased the August issue of Digital Scrapbook Magazine, and was super-excited to get to work with the “Calypso” kit. We’re trying to re-install Windows and see if that will fix it…otherwise, it’s probably time to put more RAM in our other PC (so it can run CS2).
I have created wish lists on The Lilypad and Sweet Shoppe Designs because there are tons of goodies that have caught my eye, but I am a very practical buyer. I am putting them on my wishlist to sit for a bit, so I can look at them and decide if I would get a lot of use out of them. I bought a kit a few months ago that I thought I would love because it had some cute things in it, but I really haven’t been able to do much with it. Oh well…
If you’ve made it this far, congratulations! I’m posting my first freebie here today. It’s a set of cluster frames. You can download the set with or without a drop shadow. This is my first time uploading to 4shared, so please let me know if the download doesn’t work.
Also, the preview shows a really severe drop shadow for some reason, so I downloaded it myself to check it out – that’s not the case in the actual file.
Please only use these frames for personal use. I don’t mind if you don’t credit me in any postings, but of course, I wouldn’t mind it if you did credit me, either. : )
